Hi all,
A couple of weeks ago I purchased an Emontx V2 and a NanodeRF (plus all the extras) which I would like to use to log the energy that I'm harvesting with several wind generators (One of them I made myself. Check it out here!).
Now that I've tried literally for days and days to get the emoncms system up and running, I have to admit I am stuck. I'm running windows 7, so I followed the instructions to install for windows. I got stuck on step 9, which is to log in and register and create a new user. When I do so, nothing happens except for a red empty box that pops up. I read at several other topics on the forum there are more people having this problem, but I haven't found an answer yet that can help me. This might have to do with the fact that I'm absolutely no wizard with computers.
Is there someone who could guide me to get it up and running?

Hello Thijs, its sounds like a mysql database issue, can you see if any errors are given if you load the login page and try and login with your browser's developer tools window open? What browser are you using?

I used both Chrome and firefox. I checked with the firefox developer tool and it said:
POST http://localhost/emoncms/user/register.json [HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found 6ms]
I'm really not familiar with this. Does this tell you anything?

Somehow, by reinstalling all the software again, it worked! Let's see where I will strand next... :-)
