Dumb Question admin -> db update

Thanks for the advice on using git to update my Pi emoncms. Trystan states run admin -> db update after the update.

Where and how? I get command not found in the www directories I have tried.

Luckily for you, it's much easier than that :-)!! Just click on admin in the emonCMS webinterface, a blue "Update & check" should appear.

Hello Ian, yes sorry, if you log in with the first account created which should be the admin account, you will see the menu item admin in the top-right hand corner. On the admin page you will see a link called db check and update.

If the admin menu item does not appear (maybe its an old installation) can you go into mysql and set the admin field on your user name to 1?
