I installed the new version yesterday, to test the new event feature.
Very nice.. the system work fine in jessie-lite OS , low-write mode.
I saw that the event process can only send mail as payload function... is correct ?
it would be very interesting to have also the possibility of 'call URL' as old system...this is useful for interfacing the emoncms event with external software.
Below is an example of how i use the old event system for activate a relay :
if Event_3Vie > 0 curl "http://192.168.1.240/arducon/arducon.php?pin=P09&cmd=0"

Re: New event features.
It would increase flexibility if MQTT commands could also be added alongside emails, so that remote control nodes can be controlled via emoncms - such as the MQTT relay board (which has mysteriously disappeared from the OEM shop?)
