Dashboard widget not present

Hi, 

    I'm trying to create or modify existing widget and it's not working.

I cannot see the tab for adding new widget therefore no possible to create a dasjboard with widget.

Moreover the existing dashboard cannot be modified.

Can you please help me?

To help us - help you...

You need to tell us more about your system;

  • is it hosted on emoncms.org or self-hosted?
  • ..and if self-hosted what hardware is running it?
  • what is your operating system & emoncms version?

It also helps if you tell us what you have tried to resolve the issue.

if you are running a local version of emoncms i had this problem as well when upgrading to v9.0 and could not fix it, so i renamed my emoncms directory to emoncmsnew and then all of a sudden the edit dashboard and configure buttons came back. The widgets still won't appear after this and this is normal, you need to select the widget (it's still there but not visible) and configure it again then they should appear
