error after a brand new install

i have just installed emoncms on my raspberry pi.

i sent an input and then configed the data.

when i try to run dashboad i get

Fatal error: Call to a member function fetch_object() on a non-object in /usr/share/emoncms/www/Modules/energy/energy_model.php on line 43

what now?
