Are there any tutorials or docs on using the input calculations and engines?
At the moment i am using the scale factor in gauges to show cost but surely this can be done easier in the feed calculations?
Using my method it is so hard to change if there is a tarrif price change because i know i will not remember how i scaled the gauge

It sounds like you want to do post processing? Under vis > rawdata you can select a scale factor there which may do what you want? although it will apply that scale factor to the data at any time range that you view it so wont take into account a changing scale factor.
