Non-standard EmonCMS install (FreeBSD) and full list of dependencies

I had previously installed EmonCMS on my home NAS running NAS4FREE software on the FreeBSD OS. That server crashed and I ended up getting new hardware to rebuild it, but I have been unsuccessful in getting EmonCMS to install since then. In working through it I am able to the get AMP part of the server functional and verified (Apache, MySQL, and PHP), but going to the server/emoncms address results in a blank page.

Looking through the Linux install directions, a complete and clear list of all dependencies is not listed. Instead I have to try to interpret the list of Linux modules that the directions tell you to install. Can anyone who is more familiar with the code give a list of required and optional modules for it work?

Also, from a forum search on FreeBSD it appears that other folks have gotten it working on their own FreeBSD systems. If you have been successful on this, can you please share any information you have on how you achieved this? I have tried my old directions and many variations on them without any success. It appears that changes in either the FreeBSD ports / packages or the requirements of the EmonCMS code have changed and that set of directions no longer works.

Thanks for your time.
