changed from emontx v2 to v3 now inputs jumbled up

I just tried to swap from v2 to v3 hardware but the inputs are not in the same order. ie. voltage is coming up on the old ct2 input field and ct3 data is coming in on the original voltage field etc.

Is there a way of rearranging the inputs such as editing the key numbers on the input page?

I'm using emoncms v8.01 on rpi with emonTxV3_continuous_kwhtotals_noeeprom firmware on the emontx.

The easiest way is to delete your 'log to Feed' process within your input page, and add a new 'log to feed' process directing the input to your correct & respective feed.

The alternative is to re-program the emontx v3 to send the cvs string in a different order, as the keys are  assigned by emoncms in the order that the data is received.

I  was  hoping  I  wouldn't  have  to  re-input  all  the  log  to  feed  processes as  there  is  loads  of  them. I'll look into  reprogramming  the  emontx v3 first.

It's only deleting one process and adding one process per input, you won't lose your other processes or existing feed data, but whichever option you feel most comfortable with.

I've  just found  that I  can  edit  the  key  number  on  the  input  page  in  v8.01  by  clicking on the  pen  icon. This  re-arranges the  processes .  I'll  try  it  out tomorrow  but it looks as though  this will  solve the problem.

If you go down the route of editing the key numbers don't do it to a live node. be sure to power down the node in question as it gets quite confusing if emoncms tries to re allocate keys because it received a packet when you're mid edit :-)
