Julian, how may EmonTX's were you hoping to use?

PS. can you change the title of your post to something more meaningful please, so other members with the same issue can find your post. Something like 'How many emonTX can I use'.

Re: How many emonTX can I use?

Hi Paul   !!!!

I need to connect as many as possible, be feasible 10 EmonTX?

By other way, I'm interested fix in the same plate 5 entries available: 4-phase (3 phase + 1 neutral), and 1 pulse sensor, and the connectors not of type 3.5 mm ... Can I modify the PCB and manufacture it without violating copyright?

Thanks for your help

Re: How many emonTX can I use?

I have 16 nodes here (2x full emontx's and 14x low power temperature nodes). The maximum number of nodes you can have on a group is 32 (0-31) (although its 30 for normal use) node id 31 is special as it can communicate with nodes on any network and ID 0 is reserved for OOK use.

The most important thing though is that the all nodes don't transmit at the same time as they will interfere with each other. At the moment there is nothing to stop them from doing this, when there are only a few nodes the probability of collisions is small but as the number increases and the post rate increases the probability of collisions gets higher.

Re: How many emonTX can I use?

Thank you! 30 modules are enough for me. Regarding the other issue ... I plan to use CT C-flex as Fluke. truth that are faster to assemble and are more integrated into the instalation. Has anyone tried to change the connectors for some of this type?

Many thanks for the information!
