nanode 5 and nanoderf firmware questions

Hello

Can the new firmware from github nanoderf be used on the old nanode v5?

i wonder becouse it just have 1red led on the old nanode5 as the nanoderf has 2 leds.

is there any modification that can be done so i get the green led on nanode 5?

or is the solutions to order new nanoderf?

Yes it will work, Nanode RF is hardware identical to Nanode5 with RFM12B expansion board and relevant modifications http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/227

You could manually wire in a green LED using the Arduino port headers. Or do without, it will work the same!

I used the digital pin/port 5 on atmega and vcc

i just connected an led and a 270ohm between digital5 and vcc.

Tested and working. cool
