Clamp meter

Can anyone recommend a clamp meter that is not too expensive, but could be used to calibrate my CTs? I have seen a couple, but am not sure what to look for in a good one: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/uni-trend-autoranging-ac-digital-clamp-multimeter-used-b89qa or http://www.tester.co.uk/metrel-tek680-clamp-meter

Thanks,

Allen

Re: Clamp meter

I suggest that you work out the accuracy using the numbers you will actually be measuring. The 'headline' accuracy won't necessarily be reached on all ranges and at all readings. For the Unitrend, you can download the manual from their website and I strongly advise that before you buy.

When I did the 'How good is your multimeter?' page, I found that clamp multimeters were broadly comparable in price and performance with 'standard' multimeters.
