raspberry login problem

Hi all,

I'm using the glcd and emontx for a while now.

Yesterday I tried to setup my raspberry to work with emoncms.

I couldn't connect via http to the raspberry at all.

My browser just doesn't get anything back from the raspberry.

I can ping the raspberry, it works normal.

Putty connects to it but I can't connect with the standard username and password.

So I can't configure anything :-(

I changed the api key by inserting the sd card in my laptop and edit the config file.

Now the raspberry is sending data to emoncms online, that part works great!

But what am I doing wrong that I can't connect to the raspberry by http or SSH?

When I connect a screen and a keyboard to the raspberry I can't get a login screen, there is just scrolling text about the data that it is sending to emoncms.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

Re: raspberry login problem

You can't connect the the Pi via http. The new setup is not running a Web server. You can ssh to the Pi. Default username and password is root and root. Instructions here,  see recommend steps: http://emoncms.org/site/docs/raspberrypigateway

Re: raspberry login problem

Hi thanks for your help. I think I downloaded some old manual or something because the example username and password did not work and configuration was via http.
But now It works good so thanks again.
