Cant help on the ebay one, but the AdaFruit one can be made to work with out much trouble at all. You can also find sellers in the UK for that screen. 

See my thread http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/1886 Note the fix "#define slowSPI" is not needed on the 328p only on the mega (from my experience) but you may find defferent.

first link.... hard to find a webshop on any of the distributors..... tried the few uk ones and their page does not allow for a contact thou the mail is there... have written them but its not my first choice....

the other link is just a pdf... cant buy anything there... its just a spec sheet for the modules you link to in first link...

and when you go to lcd modules on the first link you will end at LCD-module.com.... so in fact only first link is usefull... now we will just have to try every distributor and see which one that offers to take an order.

at least they will give a quote... how many out there needs one? give marc an mail marc@mmselectronics.co.uk and  get a quote for EA LED55x46-RGB (RGB background light - choose your own baglight)

Unlike other displays this series allows you to select the display type and the backlight illumination.  This way many combinations and personalized effects can be created with standard components. it is the same as used in the kit and quite cheap (about 10€ including shipping to Spain).

The particular auction you mentioned has closed, is the one you have much different from all the others on eBay? If so, can you provide more specifics (like a link to the seller?)
