Resolved: EmonPi purchase questions.

Hi all,

 

I'am looking at purchasing the EmonPi kit with the following configuration:

- Assembled PCB Only - No Enclosure

- No Raspberry Pi

- Optical pulse sensor

 

My questions are:

- Does your image currently support the RPi v3?

- Is any soldering required on my part when choosing "Assembled PCB Only" ? (not my strongest point lol)

Hi Daniel, 

I would recommend using our latest Release Candidate image and running the following to enable RasPi3 support: https://github.com/openenergymonitor/emonpi/blob/master/docs/SD-card-bui...

We will be releasing an updated image in the next week or two with full RasPi3 support. 

No soldering is required when choosing PCB only emonPi. It is fully assembled.
