Does the emonTx Arduino Shield need to be piggybacked on a Pi?

Sorry, very newby question, but as the subject suggests, when running a emonTx Arduino Shield, does it need to be piggybacked on a Pi or another processing board?

Also

Can the RJ45 to Terminal Block Breakout for DS18B20 be used on the Arduino Shield and the emonTx v3?

Many Thanks

Re: Does the emonTx Arduino Shield need to be piggybacked on a Pi?

Hi Dave

The emonTx shield is an OEM interface to add the voltage and current input components to a stock Arduino, converting it to an equivalent of an all in one emonTx v3. The Pi doesn't play any part in this relationship.

The RJ45 is present on the current emonTx v3.4 but isn't on the emonTx shield.
