Optical Utility Meter LED Pulse Sensor Compatibility

Hello I have the below problem and need your help.

The situation is:

1. I have a data logger with a digital input for Optical Counter sensor with specifications(Digital Inputs Low:0-7Vdc and High 0-24Vdc) and I can set the number of pulse per kWh.

2. I have an Optical Utility Meter LED Pulse Sensor from the online store  It seems that it runs only up to 5Vdc. Where can I find power supply for this and I need to know? Also is the sensor compatible with the data loggers input?

At a first glance, the shop sensor will be destroyed if you connect it directly to your data logger. 

You will need a 5 V ('phone charger') power supply to power the sensor, then you need to design an interface circuit that will work at the 24 V d.c. that your data logger (hopefully) provides. This may well be just one resistor and one transistor. If the data logger doesn't make 24 V available (for use with "volt free" switches), then it becomes very difficult and you will need to design a circuit that includes a 24 V d.c. supply, provides a 5 V supply to the sensor and amplifies the output pulse from 0 - 5 V to 0 - 24 V. This is all I can tell you from the information that you have provided.
