I am a bit confused about the suitability of adding a pulse sensor to an emonTx V3.4 running off an 9 VAC supply - given the power supply limitations when powering from AC.
So: will the following be okay, or will I need to also supply DC?
emonTx V3.4:
4 CT's
AC Adapter, with AC used for true power calculations and as the supply for the unit.
Pulse sensor for utility meter - stock from openenergymonitor.org. Current draw from specs: 8 ma during 100msec pulse, otherwise negligible
emonTx V3.4 + pulse sensor + CTs and AC adapter: OK?
