SLC / High Endurance SD Cards

Hello all,

I've been doing a little research/digging into more reliable SD cards... I've found a shortlist of several manufacturers who make such cards, primarily for industrial/embedded systems. These SLC cards claim a write endurance of 100,000 P/E cycles (writes) so should put up with datalogging pretty well..

Amazon have a 4gb SLC Card for less than 25 quid

Transcend also have SLC cards, though I'm not sure where you can buy them from, Panasonic also make such cards, though again, you might have to get in touch with them to buy them

I'm going to try using one and disabling buffered write with my EmonCMS installation... I'll report back how durable I find the Integral card from Amazon, but it might take me some time to wreck it! :D

Hope someone finds this information useful
