I've just received my new EmonTX V3.4 and the serial port monitor says it is at version V1.5, is this the latest version? If not can someone point me to the changes list for the later version?

If you look on GitHub, you should find the answers.
The version as of today is 1.6, the change log says: V1.6 - Add support for multiple DS18B20 temperature sensors
So if you don't want multiple temperature sensors, don't bother.

After much climbing of a very steep learning curve I think the V1.6 Firmware reports itself as V1.5 via the serial port at startup.
The V1.4 reports itself as V1.4 so I think I had a successful firmware swap
V1_6_emonTxV3_RFM69CW_DiscreteSampling.cpp_433.hex reports itself as V1.5 and
V1_4_emonTxV3_RFM69CW_DiscreteSampling_433.cpp.hex reports itself as V1.4
