As a software engineer with a solar PV installation, I'm keen to implement a DIY solution for switching unused generated power into our thermal store (which has a second, unused 3Kw immersion). I was considering using a Raspberry Pi, but scrapped that due to analogue-to-digital kits being still in their infancy.
