We're are about to start developing a prototype with sensors (e.g. CT, water, temperature, humidity, etc) connected to a web service - yeah I know the description is pretty vague at the moment but it's all I can tell in a public forum.
I've been testing and hacking emonTX/emonBase firmware for different purposes and it seems possible to achieve good results with it. However there are some essential requirements which are a bit more challenging such as easy setup experience, 3G/GPRS connection and some sort of data encryption.
We're looking for someone who can build out sensors using jeenode/emonTX, hack other devices and develop code. A truly tinkerer :)
All code created will be shared with the community.
This is a paid position/contract. The project is likely to start in August/September (depending on funding) and will last for about 3-6 months.
Please get in touch via private message if you are interested to join us and I'll share more information about the project.
We'd prefer people based in UK for this initial phase.
I look forward to hearing from you.
