missing rfm2pigateway files while building SD from scratch

Hi I'm new to this forum and to the openEnergyMonitor.  I'm following the instructions to build an SD from scratch for the pi as per https://github.com/emoncms/docs/blob/master/raspberrypibuild.md

I've made it to step 5 from the guide and on the section titled Python Gateway I realized that I have some missing files on my SD card.  These are the rfm2pigateway.py and the rfm2pigateway.init.dist which it appears that they should be in the /var/www/emoncms/Modules/raspberrypi/ directory.

I followed all the instructions up to there with no issues. Any ideas as to what's gone wrong? or where could I get these files from?

Appreciate your help.

Sam.

Hello Sam, if your building an SD card install, I would recommend skipping that guide to the new one which is currently in testing here, the lifespan of the SD card should be much longer with it: https://github.com/emoncms/emoncms/tree/bufferedwrite

I'm running this new version on my own system here and so will be able to support it better too.

Where did you find the https://github.com/emoncms/docs/blob/master/raspberrypibuild.md guide linked from? That one has actually been depreciated for a while, I've added a note to the top.

I googled something like "emoncms build sd" and it's the first link that came up.

Anyway ... I'll look at that other link and try that one instead.

Thanks

Sam

I've build a ready to go image for this new setup which might be of interest:
