What is your timezone set to?

UTC+12 as I live in New Zealand

thanks

In that case it's probably one for Trystan. Having the TZ not set is usually the reason for things like that being wrong.

Re: kWh/d starting in middle of the day

I am having this problem also. My timezone is set for Brisbane/Australia UTC +10 but my kWh/d aggregates reset each day at 10am my time. I change my timezone on Emoncms to UTC +0 and my kWh/d values are correct but my GLCD time is out by 10 hours.

Re: kWh/d starting in middle of the day

Any ideas Trystan?

I have my timezone set correctly in http://emoncms.org and my GLCD shows the correct time and resets the kWh/d correctly. It's just the kWh/d value on emoncms.org. Mine resets each day at 10am local time.

Is it a problem for people that are on the + side of UTC in emoncms.org?

Re: kWh/d starting in middle of the day

Yes your quite right, this has been a bug for some time. The new timestore feeds which have in build averaging and calculation of kwh/d via the timestoredaily visualisation solves this for timestore feeds but yes it would be good to solve this problem for mysql based feeds.

Re: kWh/d starting in middle of the day

Would it fix it if I moved the feeds to timestore?

Existing data would be corrected?

Yes all new data would be recorded/displayed correctly if you updated to Timestore.

Existing data will also be converted to Timestore.

Re: kWh/d starting in middle of the day

The timezone is correct after conversion for timestore feeds visualized with timestoredaily, including historic data, I can convert your phptimeseries feeds to timestore if you wish Nigel?

Nice dashboard you have there too!

Re: kWh/d starting in middle of the day

Go for it Trystan.

Is there any downside. I am about to order the RPi kit to replace my emonBase. Can I still export the data from emoncms.org to my own emonsmc?

Hi Trystan. Just a polite bump.

If there is a way I can do it let me know.

G'day,

How do I convert my phptimeseries feeds to timestore, on emoncms.org ?

Thanks

Andy

Re: kWh/d starting in middle of the day

From reading various post it seems that timestore is not used anymore?

Do you have a fix to allow the daily data to use the local time instead on UTC/GMT.

For emoncms.org and/or localhost server?

My timezone is set correctly (UTC +10)
