So as recommended i create a new thread

at the step where you should click update database i did
but before i move on to emonhub i check if i can create a dashboard and put something on it... And like before i cant
Since V9 is so new a search in the forums did not turn up anything i could use... will keep looking thou

Have you tried a different browser, such as Firefox?

the problem... when i go to dashboard i first create one of course.... but then there are no buttons to add text etc etc

any clue why dashboard needed a F5 in exploder and chrome to work?

Yes, although it shouldn't make much difference.
Because the previous version's code was cached in your browser.

oki, well emonhub started ok too...
so it beats me what went wrong... i did excatly as before... and yet there was a difference in the outcome

Something i want to add... and i have looked near and far on this...
a button near my hot water widget that i can use to heat up water should i need it at odd hours.
i pretty much have an understanding on how the sketch at the emontx should be...
what puzzles me is how to make the button alter the value in the packet gen page...
that raises the next question... where did packet gen go in V9 ?

Will packetgen come back? and will there be a small guide on how to create a button etc so we can turn heating etc on and off from dashboard?
i know there is a link for how trystan(or was it glyn?) but that was done by directly editing the packetgen value when logged in... and not much telling on how it was done with a complete guide
